A relationship in Kept starts with an invite, not a search. From Relationships, a Dom generates an invite code after confirming a short consent statement that the dynamic has already been discussed, then shares it however the two of you already talk. A Sub redeems that code from the same page, with their own consent confirmation.

No partner yet, or want to run your own dynamic solo? "Go solo" creates a relationship where you act as both Dom and Sub. You can convert it later by generating an invite for a real partner to take over the other side, in either direction, whenever you're ready.

After you connect

A new relationship starts with nothing turned on. Honorifics, trust permissions, and the points economy (what an Easy, Medium, or Hard task pays out) each have their own editor on the Relationships page, and none of it has to be set before you assign a first task or add a first rule. Most dynamics start with one or two things active and add the rest as they go.
