The kink checklist runs through a shared list of activities and interests, each answered on a seven-point scale: Yes, Sometimes, Maybe, Curious, No, Soft limit, or Hard limit. A few items ask for the answer twice, once for giving and once for receiving, since those aren't the same question. It autosaves as you go, and you can attach a note to any item, private, or shared so your partner sees it too.

Hard limits from the checklist are enforced: a task that touches one can't be assigned at all. A checklist "No" isn't a hard block, but a Dom assigning around it sees a warning first. The Limits page pulls those checklist-sourced limits together with any free-text limits added directly there; the free-text ones are recorded and visible to your partner, but nothing in the app automatically blocks around them the way a checklist hard limit does.

What shows on a public checklist

If your checklist is public, hard limits never appear on it, regardless of your other settings. "No" and soft-limit answers stay hidden too, by default, behind a setting you turn on yourself if you want them visible.
