Points are a spendable balance, not a rating. They are stored as a ledger of individual events, each
with its own reason, and the balance is the sum of those events — so the number always traces back to
specific things that happened, and you can spend it on things your Dom has made available.
What adds points
- Completing a task credits that task's value. The value comes from its difficulty — Easy,
Medium or Hard — and your Dom sets those three amounts once for your relationship, so they can
differ from one relationship to another. A specific task can also carry its own explicit value,
which wins over the tier when it is set.
- Observing a ritual that has a point value set on it.
- A top-up from your Dom, by whatever amount they choose. A reason is always required, and the
event shows in your history marked as a manual adjustment with the name of the Dom who made it.
What does not cost points
- Failing a task costs nothing on its own. There is no automatic penalty for a task marked
failed, and none for reporting that you could not finish it. Your Dom can attach a specific
penalty to a specific task in advance, and if they have, that one applies — but nothing is
deducted by default.
- Missing a deadline costs nothing. The task is flagged as overdue and your Dom is notified, and
a consequence may be set up to follow, but no points move.
What spends points
- Redeeming a reward your Dom has priced in points.
- A request your Dom accepts, at the price they set when accepting it.
- A punishment that carries a point penalty, when it is recorded.
- A deduction from your Dom, which works the same way as a top-up and also requires a reason.
Where to see it
Your balance and its full history are on the Points page: every event, why it happened, and, for
manual adjustments, who made it. Your active Dom can see the same history for you. Nobody else can.
