Short reads on how Kept works, from setup to safety.
Kept sets your role, Dom, Sub, or Switch, on your profile, and you can change it later if your dynamic changes. A Switch's screens and permissions on a given relationship follow whichever side of that specific dynamic they're on, not one global setting. An optional sub-role adds flavor on top, brat, pet, whatever fits, without changing what the app lets you do.
Your profile is private by default: name, photos, kink checklist, all of it. Turning on a public profile is a separate, explicit step, and even then only the fields you choose to show go out. Nothing about being on Kept makes any part of you visible to anyone until you turn that on.
Once your role is set, the rest of the app organizes around your live relationships: Tasks and Points for day-to-day accountability, Chastity for lock tracking, Rules and Consequences for house rules and how they're enforced, Consent and the kink checklist for what's agreed to, and Discover, Groups, and the gallery for whichever parts of the community you choose to join.
